LUKE encrypts sensitive fields at rest with AES-256-GCM, writes clinical and administrative actions in the API to a SHA-256 hash-chained audit log where altering a single entry breaks the chain, and scopes each clinic's data to that clinic.
Field-level encryption at rest
LUKE encrypts patient identity, intake answers, clinical notes, messages, vitals, prescription dosing and lab results at the field level with AES-256-GCM.
Tamper-evident audit trail
Clinical and administrative actions in the LUKE API are written to a hash-chained audit log, and patient-document downloads are logged by AWS CloudTrail. If a single entry is altered, the chain breaks. Clinic admins can verify the audit chain's integrity on demand from the compliance page.
Tenant isolation
Each clinic's data is scoped to that clinic.
Breached password detection
Patient passwords, and staff passwords on reset, are checked against the Have I Been Pwned breach corpus.
